1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting a manuscript to Dynsell Publishing, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Services
Dynsell Publishing provides professional LaTeX typesetting, BibTeX cleanup, journal compliance review, and related academic formatting services. Services are performed after invoice approval and prepayment. Work will not begin until payment is received. Deliverables typically include a compiled PDF and the corresponding source files (.tex, .bib, figures, class files, and supporting materials).
3. Pricing and Payment
All quotes provided by Dynsell are based on scope, page count, complexity, and deadline. Standard formatting is billed at $15/page and complex LaTeX formatting at $25/page. Reference cleanup begins at $75. Theses, dissertations, and unusually complex repairs are quoted by scope. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Payment must be completed before formatting work begins.
4. Revisions
Each paid project includes one revision within 30 days of delivery. A revision is limited to adjustments to the same manuscript—such as reformatting for a different journal destination or correcting an error in the original specification. Revisions that involve substantial new content (text, figures, equations, or tables exceeding +/- 2 pages in length) will be treated as a new manuscript and rebilled accordingly. Requests for a second revision beyond the included one will be quoted separately.
5. Refunds
Refunds are available when both the initial formatted manuscript and the included revision are rejected solely due to formatting issues attributable to Dynsell. Proof of rejection (e.g., editorial correspondence citing formatting non-compliance) must be provided. Refunds are not provided for rejections resulting from scientific content, author errors, journal policy changes after delivery, or author-driven content alterations made post-delivery.
6. Intellectual Property
Dynsell Publishing retains no rights to client manuscripts in any form. Upon full payment, all rights to the formatted output—including the compiled PDF and all source files—are assigned exclusively to the client. Dynsell does not reuse, publish, or redistribute client content without explicit written permission. Clients retain full ownership of their original submissions at all times.
7. Confidentiality
All submitted files are treated as confidential academic work. Access is restricted to the assigned specialist. Files are held for 31 days after delivery to accommodate revision requests and are then permanently deleted unless alternative retention is explicitly agreed in writing. Encrypted transfer methods are used where technically supported.
8. Delivery
Turnaround times are provided as estimates in the invoice and are not guaranteed to the minute. Delays caused by incomplete files, ambiguous instructions, or client non-response will extend the delivery window. Rush timelines may be available upon request and will be quoted separately.
9. Limitation of Liability
Dynsell Publishing’s liability for any claim arising from services is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost publication opportunities, except where such limitations are prohibited by applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon and the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oregon or Washington, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive to keep pricing and service descriptions accurate, Dynsell Publishing reserves the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time without notice. Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only; Dynsell is not responsible for their content or practices.
